ACRO Biomedical Achieves Record Growth, Aims for Further Expansion
Next-Generation Medical Devices Attract Leading Domestic Distributors & Secure Exclusive Partnership with Swiss DKSH Group for Vietnam

ACRO Biomedical (6748), globally renowned for its pioneering regenerative medicine technology—the world’s first Supercritical CO₂ Platform Technology for Regenerative Medicine Applications—achieved an impressive total revenue of NT$64.15 million in 2023, marking a remarkable 132% growth compared to the previous year. Looking ahead to 2024, the company is committed to driving further revenue growth by enhancing the performance of its existing domestic medical device distributors while also expanding its strategic partnership with Swiss DKSH Group as the exclusive distributor for medical device services in Vietnam.

According to Dr. Dar-Jen Hsieh, CEO of ACRO Biomedical, the company has spent over a decade perfecting its groundbreaking biomedical collagen applications. Leveraging its proprietary Supercritical CO₂ Platform Technology, ACRO Biomedical has established a leadership position in regenerative medicine, forging multiple strategic collaborations with international industry giants and high-end medical institutions. These partnerships include Oculus Biomed Limited (OBM) of Australia, Marubeni Corporation of Japan, NASA, and the U.S. Naval Research Units, focusing on advancing tissue regeneration engineering.

Further validating the company’s trajectory, ACRO Biomedical recently secured AUD 100,000 and 8,062,500 shares in milestone-based licensing fees from Australia’s OBM. Meanwhile, its next-generation medical devices have attracted strong interest from domestic distributors, while the company has also been selected by Swiss DKSH Group, a century-old global medical distribution leader, as the exclusive distributor in Vietnam for wound care, dentistry, orthopedics, and general surgery for the next five years.

Dr. Hsieh emphasized that ACRO Biomedical’s significant revenue surge at the end of last year is the result of years of dedicated effort and strategic planning. To further expand its market share in the medical device sector, the company is accelerating its regulatory approval process with Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare. It is currently preparing for market clearance for four Class III medical devices, including hemostatic dressings, collagen microbeads, decellularized collagen matrix, and artificial cornea. These approvals will not only enhance ACRO Biomedical’s product portfolio but also serve as a crucial step toward its planned IPO listing application.
